Michael Noel – Partner

With over 40 years experience Mike is a registered architect in the state of Illinois who founded his own private practice, Panich and Noel Architects in 1983. In 2015, Mike and his business partner Dave Panich sold their practice which has been renamed BDT Architects & Interior Designers. For the last two years Mike is still employed as a consultant for BDT.

Mike’s firm, Panich & Noel Architects specialized in the design and construction management of Hotels, Retail, Churches and Mixed use Commercial / Residential Real Estate. In addition, P & N built numerous residential custom homes throughout the Midwest.

Since his move to a consultant Mike built three IHG Hotel properties in the Midwest where he acted as the construction manager as well as owner. In addition, he owns multiple residential and commercial real estate properties worth in excess of $7 million.  With the completion of his most recent hotel project, Mike moving to Chicago to begin HNN Builders with his son Nathaniel Noel and their business partner JP Hayes.

Mike currently resides in Athens, OH with his wife Sharon.  spend some time each winter at their second residence in Cape Coral, FL. They have three grown children Nate, Maggie and Kacie along with two grandchildren Ava and Ella with a 3rd granddaughter due in July. 

During his free time Mike is involved with the local Rotary chapter, his church, Boy Scouts and Athletes in Action. He also enjoys boating, mowing the lawn and attend Ohio University athletic contests.
