HNN Builders was founded in 2015 by Nate Noel, Jeff Hayes and Mike Noel. HNN was created with the goal of providing quality residential real estate construction on Chicago's Northside. 

HNN Builders has over 50 years’ experience in commercial and residential real estate.  

Nate Noel – Partner / Real Estate Broker

Nate brings an extensive business background to HNN Builders. In 2017 Nate received his Illinois Real Estate Broker license, working with firm Baird & Warner. Prior to getting his license, Nate worked in the sports and technology marketplace, most recently at a sports tech firm in which he helped them emerge from a startup with 70K in net revenue in 2010 to sustainable business with $5 million in revenue in 2015.

Prior to the tech industry Nate worked as a sports marketing executive at Live Nation, Paragon and Intersport where he helped produce live sporting events across the US, Canada and Europe. 

Nate currently resides in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago with his wife Jackie, two year old daughter Avery and their dog Lola. 

Jeff Hayes – Partner / General Contractor

For nearly 20 years Jeff has been working in both commercial and residential real estate in the Chicagoland area . Since 2004 Jeff worked with multiple builders as the construction manager for over 50 spec homes completing 20 homes in the last two years. Jeff brings a plethora of experience, contacts and understanding of the Chicago marketplace to the HNN Builders team.

Jeff grew up in the Chicago Suburbs and currently resides in the Portage Park neighborhood of Chicago with his wife Jen and their Five year-old son Hunter. 

Michael Noel – Partner / Architect

Mike is a registered architect who founded his own firm, Panich and Noel Architects in 1983. In 2015 Mike and his business partner Dave Panich sold the practice which was renamed BDT Architects & Interior Designers. Mike still works for BDT as a consultant.

Mike’s firm, Panich & Noel specialized in the building of Hotels, Recreation Centers, Mixed use Commercial / Residential Real Estate. In addition, P & N built many residential spec homes throughout the Midwest.
